Ahoy there, I’m Carter! This is my blog where I mostly talk about the movies, TV shows, books, and music that I like. I hope this makes you feel like the old days of the Internet, where everybody's online experience wasn't just a handful of billionaire-controlled websites to cycle through every day.

I’m a big fan of many things, including old-school horror movies (ranging from the Universal Monsters all the way to 80’s slashers), pirate media (like the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and the Monkey Island games), Star Trek, and much more.

Feel free to follow my BlueSky, where I mostly post about Muppets and spooky stuff. (And the occasional Oh-my-God-what-the-hell-is-happening freakout over our current political landscape.)

Check out Boarding Party, my comedic swashbuckling series about dysfunctional buccaneers and the hell they raise upon the high seas. Think “Discworld meets Pirates of the Caribbean,” but with a lot more zombies. I also have Crescent Cove, a comic strip about a feline businesswoman and the general chaos that surrounds her (most of it she’s responsible for).

If you head on over to my Patreon, you'll see a much more streamlined version of this place—with the addition of my fiction works, including early-access episodes of Boarding Party and Crescent Cove, the Patreon-exclusive horror/comedy Psychomotor, and anything else I've got cookin'!
